What Is Purchase Data Attribution?
Purchase data attribution connects actual purchases (online and offline) with the efforts of digital ad campaigns. With device ID or cookies, a user’s device is logged after they are served or click on an ad. Later on, if that user makes a purchase, advertisers can cross-check that purchase using things like credit/debit cards, loyalty cards or CRM data. If a match between the user who was served the ad and the purchaser is found, we can credit that purchase directly to programmatic advertising initiatives.
